In more Recent years The World Wildlife Fun (WWF) and The National Wildlife Federation (NWF) have begun to focus more time and energy into the restoration of Mangrove habitats through educational tactics. Mangroves are a vital part of tropical ecosystem because they are home to over 200 different species around the world some include: the pygmy three-toed sloth, a host of different bird communities both native and migratory, fish, amphibians, reptiles and mammals. And while these organizations have been making a huge impact on improving mangrove habitats, they still need help! By educating the public, and help supporting their cause, you have the chance to not only save and protect on of the most beautiful coastal ecosystem but also the countless number of animals that call these mangroves home.
